GOLDEN SHOT PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 2024
The International Golden Shot Photography Awards, open to photographers aged 18 and above, run until 31 December 2024. PARALLEL VOICES 2025
Photia International Photography Festival is hosting the Parallel Voices portfolio contest, open for submissions from November 1 to December 31, 2024. Photographers are invited to submit one portfolio consisting of fifteen photographs, from which eight will be selected by a jury comprised of the festival's founders and artistic director for an exhibition titled "Parallel Voices" at the 2025 festival.
Each application requires a fee of 15 euros and must include images in JPG format, along with a digital PDF containing the photographer's details, a short bio, and project descriptions. The selection will focus on the relevance, coherence, and aesthetic quality of the portfolios. Results will be announced within two months, and selected photographers will benefit from free accommodation during the festival.

PHODAR BIENNIAL 2025
The 13th consecutive edition of the "Fodar" International Photo Festival Biennale is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the "Fodar" Foundation. Its theme is "Photographic Reality". With a Grand Prize of $2,000, and two additional awards for Humanistic Photography and Debut Talent each offering $600, winners will gain significant exposure as their work is exhibited during the Phodar Festival in Sofia, featured in an online Winners Gallery, and published in a photobook.
This year's theme stems from the widespread democratization of photography, exploring the relationship between digital and physical realities, and the impact of social media and artificial intelligence on image creation. A distinguished jury will select the award recipients and exhibition participants, and entry is free.
